Data from Olson, R. Tibbetts and link with Hazelton. Both Olson andTibbetts give her birthplace as Waterville, ME. Full birth date andplace used here from Hazelton who notes that Kennebec Co. was in MAuntil 1820. Hazelton also supplied marriage date but gives place asCampbell Co., KY and death and burial dates and places.
Hazelton writes "Mary Talbot was orphaned by Nov. 1813 according toguardianship papers of Campbell Co., KY. William Wilson was herguardian and also signed her marriage license. Her parents were AbnerTalbot and Hannah Richards. Hannah Richards died soon after arrivingin Campbell Co., KY, circa 1809/10. Her father Jeremiah Richardsnotes in his will that Mary Talbot, heir of Abner Talbot of CampbellCo., KY, would receive one dollar from him in 1825, I believe."
