OH, September 27, 1842, andthere resided for twelve years, when he moved with his parents to thisState. They settled in this township in the spring of 1854, beingamong the pioneers of the county. The father of our subject, K Baird,was born in 1801 and died in 1869. His mother Rebecca, was born in1806 and died on 1859. Mr. Baird was married in 1865 to Miss Emma
Hoyt, a native of OH, and by the union they have five children: Ora,Jay Van, Lillie V,, Minie and Glen, He is justice of the peace and isowner of a farm of 184 acres of well improved and stocked land.

North English Record, 30 April 1903: Al Baird of Ft. Morgan, Coloradodropped into town Thursday morning and at once went over to call onthe Isaiah Butler family with whom he had neighbored many years inthis county before going to Colorado. He left for Millersburg to visithis brother, E. J. Baird, who was no doubt pleased beyond measure tosee him. Mr. Baird fed over 1800 sheep...(big blurb on paper) and hewill ..shipping to the Omaha market. It is interesting that hisdaughter’s wedding which was to take place 6 May was not mentioned.
