Isaac Weld served as lieutenant in the Third company of Cumberlandcounty militia with Simeon Ferrell. He was born in Charlton, Mass.,1755; removed to Wardsboro, Vt. 1775, and to Sodus Bay, Lake Ontario1800 where he died.
Nathaniel Hoyt enlisted 1775 as a private; served as sergeant 1776 and1780 was commissioned ensign. He was at Long Island, White Plains andthe burning of Fairfield and Norwalk. He was born in Danbury 1751,removed to Winchester, Conn., 1795 and applied for a pension 1832. Itwas allowed for service as corporal, sergeant and ensign, Conneticutline.
