Edward "Robert" GARVIN was b. about 1820 PA (Scot-Irish) He had redhair with a beard and was b. in PA, U.S.A. He was a surveyor or farmerand finally moved to Flint District, Indian Territory, Cherokee Nation(near Sallisaw, OK,) as is told. He had 2 marriages; and had childrenby both. He was killed by bushwhackers north of Muldrow, OK in thebooks which was known as Choate Crossing, Skin Bayou, Indian Territoryabout 1863.
His 2nd wife Nancy CHOATE then married and became Judge FranklinFAULKNER's 4th wife.
His 4th son(1st by 2nd wife) Benjamin Franklin GARVIN then becameJudge Franklin FAULKNER's stepson. Benjamin went with Judge FAULKNERto cattle sales; where his purchases started his first cattle herd.
