All data from Collins. John came from England to Maryland on theFrancis and Mary which sailed from Bristol on Sep 10 1670. He wasindentured to Hugh Thomas for three years. In 1676 he paid the fare ofSusanna Brayne on the ship, Susanna. Her indenture was for four years.
Tradition states that his wife was Susannah Hudson, daughter of Henryand Ann (Hill) Hudson. Considering the names of his sons, Collinsstates that this would seem reasonable, but proposes that he had twowives, both named Susannah, the first being Susanna Brayne and thesecond being Susannah Hudson.
