HHH notes that a Mary Hoyt married Joseph Webb 12-23-1698 in Stamford,CT but was not able to determine if it was this Mary, her mother Maryor Mary (2646).
Data from Knapp. Some believe this Mary Hoyt, married Joseph Webb,however there is nothing in extant records to prove the connection andyet another unsupported claim says that Joseph married "Mary Smith".The Hoyt Genealogy does not say one way or the other. Information inthis writing says she married Joseph Ferris and has there been placedbased on the claim levied in "A Ferris Family Tree" (1995-Revised1998), by James Gary Ferris. Chapter 2:25]. Research into thisproblem continues in 1998.
Ferris gives her birth as possibly 1668 and gives death as 1740 butpossibly that as used here.
