- he moved to Hamilton Twp., Monroe Co., PA as early as 24 Apri l 1765when he purchased from the provinical government (patented) unsettledlands in the township; she appears to have died in the home of her sonNicholas II between 1810-1820
The testator, Nicholas Young (I), directed an amount of his personalproperty sufficient to cover his debts and funeral expenses be soldand the remainder to be given to his widow Rachel for as long as shedid not remarry. In the event of her remarriage the testator'sremaining personal property was then to be sold and the proceedsdivided equally between his three sons. Rachel was also to receive analimony obligation dated 30 June 1803 .
