Will of Nicholas Young, 30 May 1805, Northampton Co., PA Will Book 4,pp 294-296, County Records (R.G. 47), Microfilm Reel 4035 : Nicholaswilled his estate to the following heirs:
3.) Son Samuel to receive £200 of the above mentioned considerat ionof £1500 to be paid within one year of testator's death by h is sonsNicholas (II) and John and one third of the remaining £1 00 purchaseprice.
The testator, Nicholas Young (I), directed an amount of his personalproperty sufficient to cover his debts and funeral expenses be soldand the remainder to be given to his widow Rachel for as long as shedid not remarry. In the event of her remarriage the testator'sremaining personal property was then to be sold and the proceedsdivided equally between his three sons. Rachel was also to receive analimony obligation dated 30 June 1803 .
Executors: son Nicholas Young, George Keller
Witnesses: Henry Fenner (s), Henry Eyer (s), Philip Eyer (s)
Proven: 5 December 1807
