[223] Note from McLeester - Brown clearly states that Martha and Alvinmarried about 1830 even though this would have made her 12 years old.
[456] Reuben married after Martha died but did not live long after. Marthaand Reuben kept the old toll bridge in West Dummerston, VT. Marthadied in the toll bridge house and the box in which the money wascollected was given to me ( Murray Brown) by Martha's greatgranddaughter. In one of her letters to me, she states that sheremembers her grandmother telling of the toll bridge many times and ofthe joy in collecting the money as a child. Murray M.
