From THE LAWRENCEBURG PRESS, (INDIANA) 22 Jan 1874: Obituary ofLydia Sylvester PLUMMER: Lydia Sylvester Plummer, daughter of Job &Lydia Sylvester, was born in the State of Maine, December the 14th,1792. She was married to Luther Plummer in the year 1810, with whomshe lived about 62 years; he having died Nov 24th, 1872. She was themother of 10 children, seven of whom survive her. She was convertedand united with the M.E. Church early in her married life. She cameto Indiana in 1818, and the next year settled in Manchester, where sheremained until the time of her death. She died in peace , January13th, 1874, aged 81 years, 1 month.
