Aunt Maralynn Young thought that he and Alice were married right outof high school and were married about 8 years. She thought Alice haddied after a long illness. Well, one day not too long
before Grandpa died, he had been out in the garage and he came in theliving room very furtively and came up to me (Aunt Maralynn), glancinghere and there and out to the kitchen and then pulled a picture out ofhis coat and said it was Alice. He was so fearful Grandma would comein and soon he was off to the garage to put it away.
Info from Aunt Evelyn Sculley - She remembers when they took a tripEast when she was about 10 yrs. old. "We were all very thirsty and Dadsaid he knew of a farm where they had some good cold water. We were inNew York State (Montgomery Co.?). We drove into the farm yard & gotsome water out of a well- and it was awful!!!!!!!!!!!!! Full ofiron!!!! Dad thought it was a big joke & I thought he was an awfultease. Can't remember the farm except there was no one around but Dadsaid he had visited there as a boy." Could have been the farm ofNicholas Young? Celina Huston thought maybe Florence and Wilfred livedat (Jane) Hull House when they were first married.
