Cora and George were cousins. George bought the old homestead of hisgrandfather in 1907, in Petersham. The house and barn having beendestroyed by fire, he built a cottage there for summer family use. Thecottage is presently occupied by Laura his daughter.
George and his brother Frank were very interested in the store servicebusiness, and a few years ago were connected with the Lamson Company,manufacturers of cash and parcel equipment, which is to be seen in allup-to-date department stores.
